Are you stumped when you think about ways to keep your site useful, fresh and entertaining? Here are ten ideas to get your motor revved.

1. FAQ's.This is an easy way to add value to your site. A list of FAQ's helps you serve your readers and strut your stuff in a way that's not all about you.
2. Polls and surveys. Ask a question then post the results. Visit simplepoll.net, coolwebtoys.com, or pulsepoll.com for free code to add to your website.
3. Tutorials. Show and tell how to do something related to your business. You can take a narrative approach, or go high-tech with a screen capture tool such as Camtasia.
4. Opinions. Is there a hot issue in your industry? Do a short e-mail or phone interview with an expert and post the conversation or transcript. What a great service for readers who need to stay informed.
5. Comprehensive lists. Your site can become oft visited if you create and maintain a list of important or useful somethings. For example, since I am a web designer, I could maintain a list of great hosting companies, or Google AdWords specialists.
6. Free information. Post free articles, reading lists, or recommendations. There are plenty of free article sites from which to select, try ezinearticles.com for starters.
7. Product reviews. Are there certain tools you wouldn't be without? Write a review or endorsement. Your opinion helps readers know you more.
8. Shortcuts. Have you created a faster and easier way to do something? Your website is a great place to tell others about it.
9. Classes. Offer a changing schedule of group classes. Post teasers for upcoming classes or summaries of completed classes as an incentive for signups.
10. Leader board. Show great examples of your product in use. For example, the geniuses at www.mailbuild.com keep a running post of cool mail templates created by users, and fitness expert Jane Birr at www.janebirr.com posts fitness and healthy living success stories from her clients. Positive energy is attractive.
